Product Overview
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7046G2/E-IHSYR is a 4MP DeepinView varifocal box IP camera designed for security monitoring in demanding indoor or outdoor environments. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520 and offers varifocal motorized lens options of 3.8 to 16mm or 11 to 40mm (CS mount). For low-light performance, the camera supports DarkFighter 2.0 with IR illumination (850 nm) and smart supplemental light, providing up to 120m IR range on the 11 to 40mm lens configuration.
To handle challenging lighting conditions, it features 150 dB SWDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for clear imaging against strong backlight. Video is efficiently compressed using H.265+ to help save bandwidth and storage, while the camera supports multiple concurrent streams (up to 5) to suit different application needs.
Deep learning capabilities include face capture (best shot/quick shot, multi-face capture), perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), and multi-target-type detection for faces, humans, and vehicles. It also supports advanced people counting tools such as queue management, regional people counting, heat maps, and on/off duty detection, plus PPE detection for hard hat compliance.
Built for robust field installation, the camera is rated IP66 (water and dust resistant) and NEMA 4X with anti-corrosion protection, and includes features such as built-in G-sensor vibration detection and a built-in power meter for historical power statistics.
