Product Overview
The Hikvision iDS-2CD70C6G2-AP is a 12MP DeepinView varifocal box IP camera designed for high-quality surveillance in demanding environments. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 4000 × 3000 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. For reliable imaging in challenging lighting, the camera supports DarkFighter 2.0 low-light performance and includes 120 dB AWDR to help deliver clear detail against strong backlight conditions.
For efficient recording and streaming, the camera supports multi-stream operation (up to 5 streams) and H.265+ compression technologies to help save bandwidth and storage. Advanced imaging features include day/night switching, BLC/HLC, 3D DNR, distortion correction and defog, plus electronic image stabilization (EIS). Video compression options include H.265+/H.265/H.264+ for main stream and additional codec options for sub and auxiliary streams.
The camera is equipped with a built-in microphone for real-time audio security and supports AI/deep learning functions for smart security applications. Deep learning features include face capture (best-shot/quick-shot), face comparison with encrypted face libraries, perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), and multi-target detection including face, human body and vehicle. It also supports people counting features such as queue management, regional people counting, heat map generation, PPE detection, and on/off duty detection, with metadata upload for key events.
The iDS-2CD70C6G2-AP supports network security capabilities, up to 20 channels of simultaneous live view, and ONVIF profiles (S/G/T/M).
