The Hikvision iDS-2CD7186G2-IZ(H)S(Y) DeepinView series 8 MP network dome camera is designed for high-quality imaging, smart detection, and reliable outdoor performance. It features an 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, delivering strong detail for perimeter security and access control applications. With DarkFighter 2.0 technology and a dedicated IR illuminator (850 nm), the camera supports low-light monitoring, including 8MP up to 60 fps and 2MP up to 120 fps (monitoring mode).
For challenging lighting conditions, it includes 140 dB AWDR to help maintain clarity against strong backlight. A motorized varifocal lens is available in configurations from 2.8 to 12 mm or 8 to 32 mm, providing flexible field of view selection. To reduce storage and bandwidth usage, the camera supports efficient H.265+ compression and multiple streaming (5 streams).
Beyond imaging, the embedded deep learning capabilities enable face capture and comparison, perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), multi-target-type detection (face, human body, vehicle), and advanced people counting features such as queue management, regional people counting with density and waiting-time exception alerts, and heat map reporting. Audio security is supported with a built-in dual-mic and speaker for real-time audio. The camera is rated IP67 and IK10 for water/dust resistance and vandal protection, with optional anti-corrosion support (NEMA 4X for -Y models).
