Product Overview
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7387G0-XS is an 8 MP fixed turret network camera designed for reliable surveillance in challenging lighting conditions. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 3840×2160 for detailed, high-quality video. For low-light performance, the camera incorporates DarkfighterS technology and provides hybrid supplementary lighting (IR and white light) with an IR wavelength of 850 nm. The smart supplementary light feature supports efficient illumination for clearer images at night.
To handle difficult contrast scenes, the camera includes 120 dB WDR (wide dynamic range) for improved clarity against strong backlight. Video is compressed with H.265+ technology to save bandwidth and storage, and the camera supports multiple simultaneous streams (five streams) to suit different monitoring requirements.
The camera also supports Hikvision Embedded Open Platform (HEOP), including import of third-party applications, along with HEOP 2.0 OpenDevSDK and open resources (40 MB memory, 350 MB smart RAM, 1 GB eMMC, and 1.5 TOPS computing power). Advanced analytics features include face capture, perimeter protection, queue management, on/off duty detection, heat maps, and people counting. For durability in outdoor installations, the device is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance.
