The Hikvision iDS-2CD7586G0-IZHS(Y)(R) is an 8 MP IR varifocal dome network camera designed for high-quality surveillance in demanding lighting conditions. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, providing crisp detail for identification and monitoring. For low-light performance, the camera supports IR illumination at 850 nm, with an IR supplemental light range of up to 30 m for the 2.8 to 12 mm lens setting and up to 50 m for the 8 to 32 mm setting. The camera also includes advanced image technologies such as 120 dB true WDR to deliver clear imaging against strong backlight, plus 3D DNR, defog, and other enhancement features.
With varifocal lens options (2.8 to 12 mm and 8 to 32 mm), the camera offers wide-to-tele viewing flexibility, while motorized pan/tilt/rotation support enables flexible installation and aiming. It supports multiple concurrent streams (main, sub, third, fourth, fifth) for different recording and viewing needs, using efficient H.265+/H.265 compression to save bandwidth and storage.
Beyond imaging, the camera integrates deep learning functions for security and analytics. It can perform face capture, multi-target-type detection (face, human body, vehicle), perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), queue management, regional people counting (including heat maps and multi-dimension people counting), and hard hat detection. Built for outdoor use, the camera is rated IP67 and IK10 for weather resistance and vandal resistance.
