The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G2-IZHS(Y)/4G is a 4MP DeepinView Moto Varifocal bullet IP network camera designed for advanced perimeter and people-focused analytics. Built around a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a max resolution of 2688 × 1520, it supports variable focal lengths from 2.8 to 12 mm, 8 to 32 mm, or 10 to 50 mm (depending on the lens configuration), delivering flexible coverage from wide to long range views.
For challenging lighting, the camera combines DarkFighter 2.0 low-light performance with 150 dB AWDR for clear imaging in high-contrast scenes and strong backlight. It also includes an IR supplement light with 850 nm illumination and a built-in heater for reliable operation in rainy or snowy conditions. Performance is efficient thanks to H.265+ video compression and multi-stream support (five streams) for different application needs.
On the intelligent side, the camera includes face capture, perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), multi-target detection (face/human/vehicle), and dedicated people counting features such as queue management, regional people counting, heat maps, and on/off duty detection. It also supports PPE detection (hard hat and reflective clothing) and integrates deep learning features for metadata output to enhance analytics workflows.
Designed for rugged deployments, it is rated IP67 and IK10 with options for additional anti-corrosion protection (NEMA 4X, model-dependent).
