The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A87G0-XZHS(Y) is an 8 MP DeepinView varifocal bullet network camera designed for high-quality imaging and intelligent people-focused analytics. Featuring a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, it delivers sharp detail in both day and night scenes. DarkfighterS technology provides excellent low-light performance, while 140 dB WDR helps maintain clear visibility against strong backlight conditions.
The camera supports efficient H.265+ compression and up to five simultaneous video streams, helping reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while meeting diverse application needs. For illumination, it uses a hybrid supplemental light system combining IR and white light, with smart supplemental light support and an IR wavelength of 850 nm for night operation.
On the analytics side, the embedded deep learning functions include Face Capture (best shot and quick shot), Perimeter Protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), Multi-Target-Type Detection (face, human body, vehicle), and multiple people counting modes such as Queue Management, Regional People Counting, Heat Map reporting, and On/Off Duty Detection. The camera can also perform Hard Hat Detection and supports metadata for key detection types.
Built for challenging environments, it is IP67 water/dust resistant and vandal proof (IK10), with a robust aluminum alloy body. Overall, it is suited for perimeter security, entrance control, and smart queue monitoring applications.
