The Hikvision iDS-2CD7D87G0-XS is an 8MP fixed dome IP network camera designed for clear, reliable monitoring with strong low-light performance. It uses a 1/1.8″ Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and supports a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160, delivering sharp detail for a wide range of applications. For challenging lighting conditions, it includes 120 dB WDR (wide dynamic range) to maintain image clarity against strong backlight.

Built for modern networks, the camera supports multiple concurrent streams (up to five) and efficient H.265+ compression to help save bandwidth and storage. It also features Hikvision HEOP (Hikvision Embedded Open Platform) for open-resource integration and supports importing third-party applications, offering flexible deployment.

Smart analytics and deep learning functions help reduce false alarms and improve operational efficiency. Supported features include Face Capture, Perimeter Protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), Queue Management with reporting and raw data export, On/Off Duty Detection, Heat Map generation, and People Counting.
