Product Overview
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7T87G0-XHS(Y) is an 8MP fixed bullet network (IP) camera designed for high-detail monitoring in challenging low-light conditions. Using DarkfighterS technology, it delivers strong night performance with a hybrid illuminator that supports both IR and white light, with an illuminator range of up to 40 m. For backlight scenes, it provides clear imaging using 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). The camera supports multiple video streams (up to five) to suit different surveillance needs and enables efficient compression with H.265+ to save bandwidth and storage.
Built for outdoor and demanding environments, it is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance. It also integrates HEOP (Hikvision Embedded Open Platform) with open resources, providing computing power of 1.5 TOPS and memory/storage resources (40 MB system memory, 350 MB smart RAM, 1 GB eMMC) to support embedded applications.
For advanced analytics, the camera includes embedded deep learning features such as Face Capture, Perimeter Protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance/exit), Queue Management, On/Off Duty Detection, Heat Map, and People Counting. It also supports security and network protections including HTTPS encryption, 802.1X authentication, and TLS 1.2/1.3.
